Product Description

These are twin channel ultrasonic gas flow meters with optional integrated PTZ volume correction feature and the possibility of operation from integrated battery, the battery life time being not less than 5 years.

The meters are available in the size range DN 50 to DN 600 and for process pressure up to 10 MPa.

These flow meters have the following EU certifications : Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX); 2014/68/EU (PED) and 2014/32/EU (MID).

Energoflow GFA-202 Flow Meters can be used as part of metering stations of gas distribution points, industrial enterprises and communal gas distribution installations. Flow meters are designed for use in continuous operating mode and require minimal maintenance. Flow meters can be easily incorporated in existing SCADA networks and control systems.

Flow meters haves Ex protection marking “II 2 (1) G Ex db ib [ia Ga] IIB T4 Ga/Gb ” and can be installed in hazardous zones. The Flow meter consists of integrally mounted Electronics Unit (EU) and flanged In-line Section, having two pairs of inserted ultrasonic transducers as well as temperature sensor and pressure sensor.

Energoflow AG has launched a new range of ultrasonic meters – the two channel
GFA 202. These meters have all the mandatory EU certificates (MID, ATEX and PED) and
are recommended for custody transfer as well as flow monitoring applications..
These meters have multiple features which make them ideal for replacing mechanical
gas flow meters:
– High Rangeability, the ratio Qmin: Qmax is 1:250
– Integrated PTZ flow correction feature with pressure and temperature measurement
– Integrated battery with life time not less than 4 years for fully autonomous operation
of the meter
– (12+/-3) VDC external power supply – compatible with renewable power sources
(solar cells, wind turbines etc.)
– Multiple combinations of outputs – HF / LF pulse, 4…20 mA, RS 485 serial port,
discrete outputs – for easy integration into new and existing SCADA networks
– Available for process pressures up to 10 MPa,
– Serially available line sizes (DN) : 50 … 600 mm (for GFA 202); larger sizes on
order
– flange to flange size of meters DN 80 onwards is 3D – same as the corresponding
mechanical meter
– Low cost – comparable to the cost of mechanical meter with similar flow rating and
with external PTZ corrector
The GFA series of ultrasonic gas flow meters can be supplied with pre-calibrated
straight runs and flow conditioner. Energoflow AG can also design and supply prefabricated
metering skids for various applications.
